A little bit more about me

Currentstate Studio is a small, independent, design studio based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, founded in 2005 by me, Jane Anderson. Having spent 18 years in the industry, I primarily focus on brand identity, print, packaging and illustration. I've worked with some well known brands to start-up enterprises – producing engaging graphic design work that is driven by strong creative direction.
I love to work collaboratively with independent lifestyle brands, building strong client relationships and making engaging design that resonates with your audience. My practice is not limited to one sector, this keeps me on my toes, my mind creative and the work fresh, which ultimately benefits my clients.

I also teach on the BA Graphic Communication course at Birmingham City University's School of Visual Communication, delivering practical design skills, as well as contributing to the delivery of contextual studies across the school.  I'm also director of the Type Society programme at BCU.
